Clarksdale, Mississippi- Dorothy Booker, a renowned nutritionist at the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Center (AEH), recently delivered a compelling presentation that shed light on the profound impact of diet on chronic diseases. Her talk, titled “What You Are Eating May Be Creating a Magnetic Field of Chronic Diseases,” provided eye-opening insights into the detrimental effects of high levels of salt, sugar, and fats commonly found in everyday foods.
Booker’s presentation was part of the MAGnet diabetes education program, a series dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles and preventing chronic illnesses through informed dietary choices.
