Clarksdale, Mississippi – On July 11th, the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center hosted an impactful event titled “Building Generational Health and Wealth: A Community Partnership.” The gathering was spearheaded by Aurelia Jones Taylor, CEO of the Aaron E. Henry Community Health Center, with the goal of uniting community members from the arts, education, nonprofit, and education sectors.
The event featured several notable guest speakers, including Dr. Brookshield Laurent, Executive Director of the Delta Population Health Institute. She highlighted the importance of focusing on health assets within the community, such as improved nutrition, wealth building, and family planning, rather than merely screening for diseases.
