Clarksdale, Mississippi – Coahoma County High School recently crowned Terrance Booker as Mr. CCHS, a title that marks the highlight of his high school journey. With pride, he carries the responsibility of representing the student body, striving to foster inclusivity and school pride.

Terrance’s journey to becoming Mr. CCHS has been deeply influenced by his mother, Linda Holmes, and his faith at New Faith Church. His primary goal in life is simple but profound: to ensure that his mother never has to work again. “She’s sacrificed so much for me, and I want to be able to repay her in any way I can,” Terrance shared. His mother’s strength and dedication serve as his daily motivation, alongside his admiration for rapper Future, whose music and success inspire him to push boundaries and reach for greatness.

As Mr. CCHS, Terrance is committed to ensuring that every student feels included and valued. He believes in bringing people together and enhancing school spirit, something he sees as an important part of his role. “I want our school to be a place where everyone’s voice is heard, where no one feels left out,” Terrance explained.

Looking ahead, Terrance plans to attend Louisiana State University (LSU), where he hopes to continue making an impact while working toward his personal and academic goals. His crowning achievement thus far may be becoming Mr. CCHS, but it’s clear that this is just the beginning of his inspiring journey.

With the support of his family, church, and community, Terrance Booker is set to leave a lasting legacy at Coahoma County High School. His dedication to his peers, school, and dreams makes him a true leader who will undoubtedly continue to make a difference.
