Their journey began in middle school as friends and evolved into a romance during their college years. During this time, Teddy introduced Tant to a pound cake she would never forget, and the couple married in December 2012.
As a couple, Teddy and Tant often indulged in their favorite homemade desserts while enjoying TV shows together. One evening, they realized they were baking more than they could consume and decided to share their treats with family and friends. The positive feedback was overwhelming, and with their encouragement, Teddy took the leap to turn his passion for baking into a business, launching Sweet Tooth Teddy.
The bakery specializes in an array of desserts, ranging from pecan pies to decadent triple chocolate cheesecakes, ensuring there’s something for every palate. This season, they’re excited to introduce a brand-new autumn flavor, adding even more variety to their impressive selection. In addition to cheesecakes, Sweet Tooth Teddy offers classic southern desserts such as peach cobbler, tea cakes, strawberry lemonade cake, banana pudding, and sweet potato pie.
