Clarksdale, Mississippi – Cait Hall, a 6’3” senior from Coahoma County High School (CCHS), has been named to the 2024 Dandy Dozen, a prestigious recognition of the top 12 high school basketball players in Mississippi. Hall’s selection is historic, as she is only the second player ever from Coahoma County High School’s girls’ basketball program to earn this honor, following in the footsteps of Tanesha Washington.
Hall’s impact on the court is undeniable. She transferred to CCHS from Clarksdale High School and has quickly made her mark in her senior year. She was named Region 3A Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-District, Team MVP, and Team Defensive Player. Hall has achieved career milestones of over 1,000 points and rebounds, cementing her legacy as a dominant force.
Nationally, Hall ranks among the best:
- 4th in rebounds, averaging 15.0 per game
- 17th in blocks, with 3.6 per game
- 7th in double-doubles, achieving nine this season
Statewide, she is:
- 9th in points scored
- 2nd in rebounds
- 5th in blocks
Her junior season also showcased her talents on a larger stage, as she played in the North vs. South Junior All-Star Game and earned MVP honors.
Beyond her basketball achievements, Hall was recently crowned Ms. CCHS Homecoming Queen, highlighting her multifaceted contributions to her school.
Currently, Hall is being recruited by every junior college in Mississippi as well as multiple Division I and II programs, including several mid-major schools. However, she plans to finalize her decision after the season concludes.
With her combination of talent, determination, and leadership, Cait Hall is poised to leave a lasting legacy both on and off the court. Coahoma County High School and the local community eagerly await the next chapter in her basketball journey.
