Clarksdale, MS — Coahoma County High School is celebrating a double victory as both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams have clinched the District 3A Championship titles.
The girls’ team secured a 44-36 win over Independence High School, led by an outstanding performance from Cait Hall. Hall delivered a remarkable triple-double, recording 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Her dominant play was instrumental in securing the championship, further solidifying her reputation as a standout athlete.
The Coahoma County boys’ team also showcased resilience and determination, defeating Rosa Fort High School 52-44. Their impressive teamwork and strategic execution were key factors in their victory, marking a significant achievement for the school.
The dual championships have sparked excitement throughout Coahoma County, with students, faculty, and fans rallying in support. These triumphs not only highlight the teams’ talent but also reflect the dedication and hard work of the coaches and staff who have tirelessly pushed for excellence.
