Clarksdale, Mississippi – Clarksdale residents gathered for a day full of fun, creativity, and community spirit as GRIOT Arts hosted its Open House event. The celebration brought together families, students, and neighbors to enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment.

Guests were treated to live performances, showcasing local talent and filling the atmosphere with energy and excitement. The Clarksdale High School cheerleaders and choir delivered spirited performances, while a Hip Hop team audition drew in an enthusiastic crowd of young dancers eager to display their skills.

Food was also a highlight of the day. Attendees enjoyed delicious meals from local food trucks, including Wicked Wings, while cooling off with sweet treats from Bryant Shaved Ice. For those eager to learn something new, Chef Julio led an engaging cooking class, giving participants a chance to sharpen their culinary skills.

Children and families had plenty of activities to enjoy as well. From face painting to the excitement of bouncy houses, the event offered something for everyone, making it a true community-centered celebration.
