Jackson, MS) August 12, 2025 — Free baby items will be provided to local expectant and new mothers at a Community Baby Shower on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Dining Room of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center, located at 1970 Hospital Drive in Clarksdale, MS.
Sponsored by the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the event will offer free educational sessions, access to local community resources, and a variety of giveaways to support maternal and infant health. All attendees will receive free diapers and essential baby care items. This event is part of an ongoing effort to support healthy pregnancies, safe deliveries, and strong starts for families across the Mississippi Delta.
