Clarksdale, Miss. — The Clarksdale High School (CHS) Student Council came together this holiday season with a shared mission: to help make Christmas special for local children in need.
Through an angel adoption initiative, members of the student council adopted angels representing a couple of Clarksdale children, ensuring they would experience the joy and warmth of the Christmas season. Students worked collectively to gather gifts and provide support, demonstrating compassion, generosity, and a strong commitment to giving back to their community.
The effort reflects the values CHS strives to instill in its students—service, leadership, and empathy. By participating in the angel adoption program, the student council not only brightened the holidays for local children but also reminded the community of the impact young leaders can have when they come together for a meaningful cause.
As the season of giving continues, the CHS Student Council’s act of kindness stands as a heartwarming example of how small gestures can make a big difference, spreading hope and holiday cheer throughout Clarksdale.
