Clarksdale, Mississippi – Friday night was electric as Cait Hall, a rising basketball star, put on a performance that left spectators and scouts alike buzzing. Among those in attendance was Keith Sanders, a career educator and a certified agent by the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) since 2022. Sanders made the trip to see Hall play after keeping tabs on her for over a year.
“I first heard about Hall last year,” Sanders said. “I didn’t do anything right away, but I kept up with her progress. It was an article in The Clarksdale Advocate that finally pushed me to come see her play in person.”
Hall did not disappoint. Her skill and potential were evident, drawing praise from Sanders, who already represents another Mississippi standout, Tilly Boler. Boler, originally from Meridian, now plays for Memphis under the NCAA’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) program after transferring from Jackson State University.
Sanders’ connection to Mississippi runs deeper than his work. Although originally from Michigan, he spent part of his childhood in Meridian, Mississippi, where he attended eighth grade. “Coming back here feels special,” he shared.
As for Hall, Sanders is convinced she has what it takes to excel. “I think Hall is an exceptional player with a tremendous upside,” he said. “I’ve spoken to a few coaches from the SEC, AAC, and SWAC, and they all share the same concern: Can she adapt to the speed of the college game? My answer to them is always the same—you can lose weight, but her height and skill level are permanent.”
Sanders believes Hall has the potential to dominate at the next level with the right training and focus. “I honestly think she’s a pro,” he added.
Hall’s recent performance only solidifies her status as one to watch. With recruiters and agents now paying close attention, it seems clear that her basketball journey is just getting started. If Keith Sanders’ assessment is any indication, Cait Hall may soon be a name spoken far beyond Clarksdale.
