(Jackson, MS) November 18, 2025 — Belzoni residents will Paint the Town Red in observance of World AIDS Day. From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, a community health fair will be held at the Neighborhood Facility Building, located at 50 Hayden Street in Belzoni, Mississippi.
Sponsored by the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, the health fair will feature free HIV testing, free health screenings, and access to local resources that increase HIV awareness and promote prevention. Individuals who complete HIV testing will receive a $25 gift card, while supplies last.
World AIDS Day is a time to reflect on the progress made and the work still needed to stop the spread of HIV. By offering free testing and resources, the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health hopes to empower individuals to take charge of their health and help eliminate the stigma surrounding HIV.
