Clarksdale, Mississippi – The holiday season is here, and what better way to celebrate than with the beauty of music? The Clarksdale High School (CHS) Choir, led by the talented Mr. Andre Nawls, is excited to invite the community to its annual Christmas concert. This year, the event will feature a special performance by the Humphreys County High School Choir, under the direction of Justance Stewart, promising an evening of unforgettable music and festive cheer.
Titled “The Birth of a King,” this year’s Christmas concert will feature performances by the Clarksdale High School Concert Choir, Elite Sounds of the Delta, Wildcat Chamber Choir, CHS Men’s Choir, and the Humphreys County High School Concert Choir. The accompanist for the evening is Jennifer Ringo.
The event will take place at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, located at 1051 Walnut St., Clarksdale, MS 38614, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
Tickets are priced at $5 for students and $7 for general admission. To purchase tickets, simply scan the QR code on the event flyer or secure them in advance.
The CHS Choir has been diligently preparing a repertoire that includes classic holiday favorites, contemporary hits, and breathtaking choral arrangements.
