Clarksdale, MS – The Boys & Girls Club of Clarksdale, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving local youth, recently hosted its first community event, aimed at promoting positive education and strengthening community bonds.

The event welcomed between 75 to 90 students, ranging in age from 6 to 18 years old. The club is actively recruiting as many young participants as possible to join its growing program.

Alexandria Henderson, Director of the Clarksdale Boys & Girls Club, is leading efforts to create meaningful opportunities for youth development. Under her leadership, the club continues to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children and teens in the area.

Local vendors showed their support, including Tia’s Snack Shack and Sweet B’s Luscious Kool-Aid Pickles. Kim Seals from Fair Count was also present, helping raise awareness about civic engagement and community resources.

The club’s next community event is scheduled for July and will focus on a neighborhood trash pickup—furthering its mission to teach responsibility, teamwork, and community pride.
