Clarksdale, Mississippi – Calling all Clarksdale residents and anyone who wants to help! It’s time to come together and make a difference in our community. Clarksdale Cleanup Day is happening on Saturday, March 1st, at 9:00 AM, and this is your chance to restore pride and cleanliness to our city.
This event invites citizens, businesses, churches, and organizations to unite in a shared mission to enhance Clarksdale’s beauty. Volunteers will gather at City Hall (121 Sunflower Ave.) at 9:00 AM to receive assignments before heading out to designated areas in need of attention. Cleaning supplies will be provided, so all you need to bring is your positive energy and willingness to make a change.
But this initiative goes beyond one day of cleaning—it’s about community, accountability, and action. If everyone grabbed a few neighbors and started by cleaning their own street, then reached out to other areas, the impact would be remarkable.
Now is the time to stop talking about what needs to be done and start doing it. Let’s prove the doubters wrong—those on social media, the news, and outsiders who believe Clarksdale can’t rebuild. The truth is, the power to create change lies in our hands.
