With over 11 years of experience, Captain Trotter has exemplified what it means to be a firefighter, continuously striving for excellence both on and off the field.
Throughout his career with the Clarksdale Fire Department (CFD), Captain Trotter has demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities that have earned him the respect of his peers. He leads by example, ensuring that his commitment to growth and excellence inspires those around him. In his pursuit of professional development, Captain Trotter has completed several advanced training courses at the Mississippi State Fire Academy, including Fire Officer I and II certifications.
Not only has he honed his skills as a firefighter, but Captain Trotter is also a certified instructor. He has played a pivotal role in mentoring younger firefighters, guiding them through the early stages of their careers and fostering a culture of teamwork, discipline, and continuous learning within the department.
Captain Trotter’s dedication doesn’t stop there. After earning his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification, he expanded his expertise into the medical side of first response. This additional training has enhanced his ability to serve the community, solidifying his position as a versatile and dependable asset to CFD and the citizens of Clarksdale.
