Aaron E. Henry Community Health Services Center CEO, Aurelia Jones-Taylor, delivered an inspirational speech at the Clarksdale Municipal School District’s Black History Program. The program was held on February 28, 2023, at Clarksdale High School. Mrs. Taylor was also honored as a 2023 Local Trailblazer. She is pictured here with (L to R): District Superintendent Dr. Toya Harrell-Matthews and other Local Trailblazer honorees Marian Gooden Miller (representing the late Bennie S. Gooden), Dee Brown, Josephine P. Rhymes, and Hattie Scott (representing the late Bishop T. T. Scott). Scholars from the School District represented prominent trailblazers in our history as well as vocal and liturgical performances.
