The induction event celebrated the students’ dedication to the Beta Club principles, which center around leadership, character, and academic achievement.

The ceremony opened with an introduction by Beta Club Sponsor, Traklia Whitehead, who presented the returning and new Beta Club members. The students watched an inspirational video message from the Beta Club’s founder, which set the stage for the importance of their commitment to the club’s values.

Marki Harris and Caiden Givens then shared the mission of the Beta Club, emphasizing the club’s focus on developing leaders who strive for excellence in all areas of life. Following their presentation, eight members proudly recited the Beta Club’s eight principles, each embodying the club’s dedication to service, scholarship, and citizenship.

The ceremony continued with a certificate and pinning presentation, led by Friars Point Elementary School Principal Ms. Chiquita Phillips and Lead Teacher Jonnetta Williams.
