“I Trust Her to Lead”
Edward Seals, Sr.
Clarksdale Mississippi– In a poignant moment that symbolizes the evolution of leadership, Commissioner Edward Seals has decided to not seek reelection after decades of serving Ward 4. But the best person has been chosen to succeed him: my daughter, Kim Seals. She is Ward 4. Kim has grown up here. She knows about city government and what it takes to run a city. She’ll be a better facilitator of ward 4 due to the change in politics and how the needs of citizens continues to evolve with time and generation charge.
“Leadership isn’t about clinging to tradition; it’s about recognizing when it’s time to pass the torch and trusting the next generation to carry it forward.” I’m honored to pass this on to my daughter. I feel with my skills, leadership, and assistance with her new vision and new ways of doing things. Seals feels confident in his daughter taking the torch and leading Ward 4. As, City Commissioner of Ward 4 Kim has spent the past decade or more helping me, watching me, and shadowing me. I can’t think of a better candidate than my daughter, Kim Seals.
Kim Seals:
“I’ve always admired my father’s commitment to Ward 4. And I believe in meeting people where they are, amplifying their voices rather than assuming I know what’s best for them. She is ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work. For her it is a privilege and honor to carry the torch and continue her father’s vision but with a site for the future and the younger generation. We’ve seen the increasing demand for leaders who prioritize inclusivity and innovation to make small towns in the Mississippi Delta a better place to live by redefining the stability and economic growth in Clarksdale, MS.
So, on April 1, 2025, She is asking the citizens of Ward 4 to trust her. Your vote, support, and prayers are appreciated.
