(Clarksdale, Mississippi) – Coahoma Community College proudly announces that Kimberly Hollins, an esteemed instructor in the Office Systems & Accounting Technology department, has been honored as an Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser by the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Center.
Kimberly Hollins, who has dedicated her career to educating and mentoring students in Career and Technical Education, was recognized for her exceptional commitment to the FBLA, its members, and the broader community. Her work has significantly impacted not only the students at Coahoma Community College but also the entire FBLA association.
Ms. Hollins will be formally recognized at the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference, scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida from June 24-27, 2024. She will participate in the Parade of States & Territories during the Opening Session at 7:00 PM on June 24, symbolizing her role in enhancing the profile and success of FBLA activities at Coahoma Community College.
Kimberly Hollins embarked on her journey with FBLA and Coahoma Community College subsequent to completing her Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science from Coahoma in 1990, and later achieving a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Delta State University in 1993. Her academic and professional journey is a testament to her dedication and passion for both education and community service.
