(Clarksdale, Mississippi) – Coahoma Community College (CCC) is excited to announce the launch of its cutting-edge campus dining program, Luxe Life, for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester. This premier dining experience, centered in Thompson Hall and extending to retail spaces across campus, promises to revolutionize student dining with its theme “LuxeAThon: Ready, Set, LuxeLife.”
The Luxe Life is a term crafted by a team of college student interns at Thompson Hospitality to convey the attention to detail, commitment to excellence and exceptional customer service that will be felt and experienced by each guest.
As Thompson welcomes the campus community to their dining destinations, they want to normalize the reality that their guests are “worth going the extra mile. Luxe Life introduces an array of new and returning events designed to engage students and enhance their dining experience:
New Events:
- Luxe Labs: Interactive culinary workshops offering hands-on experiences
- Luxe Nic: An innovative dining event (details to be announced)
Returning Favorites:
- Turn Up Tuesday: Weekly food celebrations
- Birthday Bash: Special treats for birthday celebrants
- First Friday Day Party: Monthly kick-off celebrations
- Game Night: Combining delicious food with entertainment
“Our goal is to create a dining program that not only satisfies hunger but also fosters community and excitement among our students,” said Taliah Brown, Director of Campus Dining at CCC. “LuxeAThon is set to transform how our students view campus dining.”
The college extends a warm invitation to the Clarksdale community to join in the culinary festivities. Community members are especially encouraged to partake in the popular Chicken Wednesday and Fish Friday offerings.
Additionally, the BRB (Be Right Burger/Campus Grill) will reopen on August 14th, 2024, featuring its regular menu along with enticing monthly promotions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome both new and returning students to experience Luxe Life this fall,” added Brown. “This program reflects our commitment to providing top-notch services that enhance the overall college experience.”
This year Thompson is committed to enhancing their processes to continually increase guest satisfaction. They also aim to push boundaries to elevate the standard of excellence in campus dining.
