Clarksdale, Mississippi – ey, Mississippi Delta residents! Are you ready to dig into something new this spring? Whether you’re a seasoned grower or a beginner with a green thumb waiting to bloom, mark your calendars for the Raised Bed Garden Community Workshop on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
Hosted by Higher Purpose Health Academy and sponsored by Rootswell, this free hands-on event will be held at Higher Purpose Hub, located at 238 Issaquena Avenue, Clarksdale, MS 38614, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Participants will gain expert gardening knowledge from two seasoned instructors:
- Robbie Pollard, of Happy Foods Project, Inc., and
- Umi Jenkins, Director of Mississippi Farm to School.
They’ll be sharing practical tips, tools, and guidance to help you start your own raised bed garden—an accessible and efficient way to grow fresh fruits and vegetables right at home.
