Clarksdale, Mississippi – My name is Kimberlyn Seals. I am a former educator, civic engagement activist, and long-time community servant with a deep passion for improving Clarksdale and the greater Mississippi Delta region. This is not my first time stepping into the political arena. Many of you may remember that I previously ran for State Senate, for my father’s former seat as City Commissioner for Ward 4, and now I am preparing to run for the Mississippi House of Representatives, District 26.

I am running because I believe in the future of Clarksdale and the Mississippi Delta. I want to be a voice for the people and bring meaningful change to our communities—not for a title, but to serve.

I currently work for a nonprofit organization called Fair Count, founded by Stacey Abrams, where we focus on civic engagement, the Census, and increasing voter participation. Through my work, I have secured and written grants that support outreach efforts across underserved areas, including right here in the Delta.

I hold an Associate of Arts degree from Coahoma Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Mississippi Valley State University, and an MBA from Bethel University, specializing in Marketing and Human Resource Management.

I am fully prepared to represent District 26 with knowledge, dedication, and pride. As a former educator with eight years of service in the Clarksdale Municipal School District, and now as a leader in voter education, I am uniquely qualified to tackle the issues that matter most to our region.

Two of the major issues expected to return during the 2026 legislative session are education reform and voting rights reform. Who better to advocate for these causes than someone who has lived them—both in the classroom and in the field?

Politics, public service, and community empowerment are not just what I do—they are who I am. If you want a strong, experienced, and passionate voice representing Coahoma and Bolivar Counties in Jackson, I ask for your support.

Send Kim Seals to the Capitol—because District 26 deserves a leader who understands the needs of our people and is ready to fight for a better tomorrow.
