Planters Bank’s car emerged as the winner from among more than 50 entries in the downtown Clarksdale Christmas parade on Wednesday night. Planters Bank’s float featured fake snow flying through the air, employees dancing alongside, and an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Griot Arts secured second place, Walmart came in third, and St. Elizabeth Catholic School earned an honorable mention. Various local schools, businesses, public officials, and other members of the community actively participated. The Crossroads Economic Partnership, also known as the Chamber of Commerce, organized the parade.
