Clarksdale, Mississippi – On Saturday, September 15, 2024, Allasica Byrd, owner of The Delta Byrd, unveiled her latest venture, The Studio, with a grand opening event hosted by celebrity guest Darrin Henson. Located on Riverside Avenue in Clarksdale, The Delta Byrd, known for its vintage charm, has grown into a multifaceted creative space, now spanning two building spaces.
The Studio offers a unique experience, combining a recording studio, dance studio, mini library, museum gallery, a studio apartment for rent, and a mini movie theater, which Byrd plans to use for her future show. Decorated with antique treasures and evoking a vintage film aesthetic, The Studio is designed to inspire artistic expression and showcase Delta culture.
Byrd reflects on the journey that led to the creation of The Studio. “It all started in a dream. Even before I understood how I was going to pull it off, I had faith that the dream was mine. I opened The Delta Byrd before I had the money because I knew it was mine. I used my gift of gab to continue speaking life into the vision. Eventually, God made it happen.”
With its rustic, organic theme, The Studio offers an authentic Delta experience, enriching the local community and attracting visitors from beyond Clarksdale. As Byrd continues to grow her brand, she remains focused on her journey ahead, appreciating how far she’s come while keeping her eyes set on the future.
