Clarksdale, Mississippi– On Thursday, October 30, 2025, members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. gathered for their Second Annual Walk for Awareness, an inspiring event dedicated to spreading knowledge and unity in the fight against domestic violence and breast cancer.

The event was organized under the leadership of Darlene Page-Clark, Z-HOPE Chairperson, and Sharon Campbell, Chapter President. “We want to spread the word on domestic violence and breast cancer. This is our second year doing the walk, and we really appreciate everyone who came out and supported the cause,” said Page-Clark, expressing gratitude for the community’s participation and ongoing support.

The program opened with a heartfelt invocation from Rev. Dennis Hawkins, followed by a warm welcome from Mrs. Campbell. Attendees listened to words of encouragement and remembrance before survivors shared their personal testimonies, offering hope and strength to others affected by these challenges.

Rev. Samuel Sculark led the gathering in a moving prayer, which was followed by an emotional balloon release ceremony—symbolizing remembrance for loved ones lost and renewed commitment to awareness and prevention.

The Zeta Phi Beta Walk for Awareness continues to grow as a beacon of education, compassion, and community spirit. Through events like this, the organization remains steadfast in its mission to uplift, empower, and inform residents about issues that affect families across the Mississippi Delta.
