Clarksdale, Mississippi – On June 11, 2024, Antris Perkins, executive director of Heart of Gold Consulting LLC, hosted an inspiring event titled “Wine Down Wednesday” at Meraki Roasting Company. The evening was dedicated to fellowship, wine, refreshments, door prizes, and most importantly, community building for women in the Delta.

The gathering saw an enthusiastic turnout of women, all eager to participate in the evening’s activities. The central theme of the night was self-care and womanhood, with a panel discussion that delved into topics such as the meaning of self-care, the obstacles women face in committing to self-care, and much more. The discussions were both insightful and heartfelt, encouraging a deep exploration of personal well-being and the collective experience of womanhood.
