Rising Star Te’Airra Ewings Shines as Salutatorian at CCHS!

Clarksdale, Mississippi – Te’Airra Ewings, the Salutatorian at Coahoma County High School (CCHS), has distinguished herself through her academic excellence and active involvement in school activities. A resident of Jonestown, Mississippi, Te’Airra is the daughter of Tenisha Ewings and Trevor McNesse.

Throughout her high school career, Te’Airra has earned several notable accomplishments, including a place on the Superintendent’s List, membership in the Beta Club, and induction into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). These achievements are a testament to her dedication and hard work.

Te’Airra has been an active participant in her school community, serving on the Student Council and joining the Book Club. Her commitment to these activities reflects her leadership skills and her passion for learning.

Inspired by her parents and grandmother, Te’Airra has always strived for excellence. Her favorite teachers, Coach Moore and Mr. Anthony, have played a significant role in her educational journey, providing guidance and support along the way.

One of Te’Airra’s proudest milestones is being named Salutatorian, an honor that acknowledges her outstanding academic performance and perseverance. She lives by the quote, “Never regret anything, because at one time it was exactly what you wanted,” a reflection of her positive outlook on life and determination to achieve her goals.

Looking ahead, Te’Airra plans to attend Southern University in Baton Rouge, where she will continue to pursue her academic and personal aspirations. She offers a heartfelt message to the youth in her community: “Be true to yourself, never change who you are to fit in.” This advice encapsulates the values that have guided her success and will undoubtedly inspire others to follow in her footsteps.
