Clarksdale, Mississippi – Latoya Dotson is a devoted wife and mother to three amazing young men. She is passionate about Christ, serving others, and making a lasting impact in their lives.
Latoya exemplifies dedication and resilience as the founder of Pink Savvy Inc. and God+Girl Ministries, a motivator, and, most importantly, a breast cancer overcomer.
As a worship leader and songstress, she captivates audiences, drawing them into a spiritual realm of wonder-filled worship and personal devotion.
In 2014, Latoya launched a breast cancer nonprofit, setting her on a trajectory to become an award-winning community activist. Her work paved the way for her to become a certified patient advocate and life coach. By overcoming many obstacles in life—one of them being breast cancer—Latoya found her strength and healing in God’s presence, leading to the birth of God+Girl Ministries. Despite having no family history of the disease, she was diagnosed with breast cancer five years later. She vividly recalls the surprising diagnosis, which brought an onslaught of challenges she had to endure and overcome, even years after the initial diagnosis.
The mission of God+Girl Ministries is to support individuals who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges and help them rediscover their purpose. Guided by the scripture:
“They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not get weary. They shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31),
Latoya encourages others not to allow trials to overshadow their purpose.
Through her work as a blogger, Latoya demonstrates that with God, faith, resilience, and a commitment to purpose, all things are possible.
