Clarksdale, MS – Birley Gipson, a native of Clarksdale, has achieved the esteemed position of valedictorian at Coahoma County High School (CCHS). As the son of Crystal Hall Gooden and Birley Gipson Jr., Birley has distinguished himself with his notable accomplishments and active involvement in both school and community activities.

Birley’s hard work and dedication have been recognized by the Delta Council, which honored him as a Delta Honor Graduate. This prestigious accolade is a testament to his academic prowess and commitment to excellence.

Throughout his high school career, Birley has been actively engaged in several school activities, including the Book Club, where he fostered a love for reading and literary discussion, and the Student Council, where he served as a representative for his peers and contributed to school governance.

Birley is also a dedicated member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, reflecting his strong ties to his community and his commitment to his faith.
