Clarksdale, Mississippi – Meet Yumon Williams, the 22-year-old entrepreneur from Jonestown, MS, whose passion for cooking has taken the Delta by storm with her thriving food truck, Yumon Munchy Mobile.
A 2020 graduate of Coahoma Agricultural High School, Yumon has been honing her culinary skills since the age of 14. Now, at 22, she’s turned her lifelong love of cooking into a successful business. “I love being in the kitchen. I enjoy it so much that nothing else is for me. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll do this for the rest of my life,” Yumon shared.
What sets Yumon’s journey apart is the support she’s received from her father, who at 76 years old gifted her a brand-new 2024 food truck, paid in full. “I couldn’t be more blessed,” Yumon said, reflecting on the impact of her father’s encouragement and generosity.
Yumon Munchy Mobile started humbly, selling snacks, but has since evolved into a full-fledged food truck serving a wide range of delicious offerings. The menu includes wings, tenders, single and double cheeseburgers, fish plates, loaded fries, pork chops, and the ever-popular Big Back Nachos.

For Yumon, the best part of her work is serving her customers and sharing her love for food. “The best is yet to come,” she said, radiating confidence in her future.
